Working draft — to be completed before the public launch. This page describes the features currently integrated. The newsletter provider, Google Analytics configuration and safeguards specific to Print.com still need to be documented before public activation.
Who processes your data?

Data collected and purposes
The form collects your first name, surname, email address and message, and, if provided, your company, role and telephone number. We use these details to respond to your enquiries, prepare an offer and follow up our conversations. Required fields are necessary to process your request; without them the form cannot be sent. Please avoid submitting sensitive data unnecessarily.
Legal bases
Requests for quotes or services are processed to take pre-contractual steps at your request and, subsequently, to perform the contract. Other professional correspondence and website protection are based on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and preventing abuse. Accounting and tax obligations are based on applicable legal requirements. Optional processing requiring consent must be subject to a separate choice.
Form operation and security
Enquiries are sent to Happywookie by email. The form includes anti-spam protection and temporary rate limiting based on an IP-address fingerprint, configured for one minute. Hosting and email services may also process the technical data needed for their operation and security.
Recipients
Information is accessible to the people at Happywookie responsible for answering your enquiry and, depending on the assignment, to collaborators or service providers who need to process it. Hosting and email providers handle transmission and storage. Data needed for invoicing may be shared with accounting professionals and authorities where required by law.
Printing service
The website includes a module supplied by Print.com. It remains disabled until you authorise it in your privacy preferences. Activating it connects to the provider’s servers, including transmission of your IP address and browser information. Data entered into the module and its usage measurements also form part of this service. Its trackers, recipients, retention periods and any international transfers must be checked before the public website opens.
Cookies and third-party services
The website uses WordPress, whose administration uses login cookies, among others. The theme contains no Google Analytics or Meta tag. This does not cover processing carried out by third-party services, including Print.com. Your Print.com choice is stored in your browser for up to six months and can be changed using “Privacy preferences” in the footer. Refusing the module does not prevent you from browsing the website or contacting Happywookie. Google Analytics is planned but is not installed; activating it will require a separate analytics choice.
Retention periods
Prospect enquiries are retained for one year after the last exchange, unless they become a client file or need to be retained for a dispute. Client files and accounting records are then subject to applicable legal obligations and evidential requirements. One year is Happywookie’s chosen rule for prospects, not a general period imposed by the GDPR. Retention periods for technical logs and archives still need to be documented. This policy does not automatically delete emails or files.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it for the future. Contact hello@happywookie.com. Proportionate identity verification may be requested if there is doubt.
Complaints
You may contact theBelgian Data Protection Authority, rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, if you believe your rights have not been respected.
Newsletter
A newsletter is planned, but no sign-up form is currently active on this website. Subscription will require separate consent; submitting a contact enquiry will not automatically subscribe you. Each message will include an easy way to unsubscribe. The provider, mailing-list retention period and any transfers outside the European Economic Area will be specified before subscriptions open.
